We're here when the sync isn't.

What to include in a request

Your HubSpot portal

The portal id or the *.hubspot.com domain you sign in to.

Your ConnectWise site

The company name you use to sign in to ConnectWise Manage.

The record

A link to the HubSpot record (company, contact, deal, product) or the ConnectWise record you expected to change.

What you expected, and what happened

Including roughly when. Timestamps let us find the exact run.

Never send API keys or passwords by email. If we need to reconnect your ConnectWise site, your onboarding contact will arrange a secure hand-off.

03Do it yourself

Things you can check first

  1. Is the record admitted to the sync? Companies carry a ss_sync_to_connectwise property in HubSpot. A company with that property switched off is left alone, along with its contacts and deals.
  2. Look at the SalesSync properties. Synced HubSpot records carry ss_-prefixed properties holding the matching ConnectWise identifier and the sync status. An empty identifier means the record has not been written to ConnectWise yet.
  3. Check the app is still connected. In HubSpot, open Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps. If SalesSync is missing, the grant was revoked and nothing will sync until it is installed again.
04Documentation

Setup guide

The setup guide is the whole sequence from the install link to your first synced record: what you do (install from HubSpot, hand over one bind code), what we do with you (the ConnectWise connection, the mappings, the alpha and full syncs), what to look for on a record, and how to disconnect.

For what SalesSync synchronizes and how the pieces fit, see the product overview, which carries the full field map.

05Leaving

Disconnect or uninstall

You can stop SalesSync at any time from inside HubSpot: Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps → SalesSync → Uninstall. HubSpot revokes our access immediately and synchronization for your portal stops. Records already written to either system stay where they are; nothing is deleted from HubSpot or ConnectWise by an uninstall.

To have us delete the data we hold for your account, or to reconnect later, email msp@contuit.com. Our privacy policy describes what we keep and for how long; the terms of service cover the commercial side.
