Every record that matters, kept in step
Six object families. Each can be switched on or off for your portal, and each is matched by name where the two systems disagree on vocabulary: owners to ConnectWise members, deal stages to opportunity stages.
Companies
Created and kept current in both systems. A company is admitted to the sync by a single tick in HubSpot.
Contacts
Contacts follow their company, with department and relationship carried across.
Deals
A HubSpot deal becomes a ConnectWise opportunity. Stage, status, type, source, owner, amount and close date stay aligned.
Deal line items
Line items become opportunity products, with price, quantity and billing period.
Products
Your ConnectWise catalog is mirrored into HubSpot products, stamped with type, category, class and unit of measure.
Activities
Notes, emails, calls, meetings and tasks flow between both, so service sees the deal history and sales sees the ticket history.
One record, two systems, always in step
For every HubSpot record, SalesSync finds its partner in ConnectWise Manage and links the two by ConnectWise ID. Where no partner exists yet, SalesSync creates it. The records below are samples.
Deals are the headline. The whole customer comes along
Syncing deals is what SalesSync is for — but the companies, contacts, products and line items around each deal move with it, so a record is never half-synced. Here is exactly what maps, field for field.
Need something beyond these fields? Additional custom mappings are available for an added fee.
Installed in HubSpot, connected with you
There is nothing to host and no field mapping to build. SalesSync is installed like any HubSpot app; the ConnectWise side is connected with you during onboarding.
- Install SalesSync in your HubSpot portal. From the HubSpot App Marketplace listing, or from the install link your onboarding contact sends you. HubSpot shows exactly which permissions SalesSync is asking for before you approve.
- Hand over your bind code. After you approve, you land on a SalesSync page showing a short code for your portal. Give it to your onboarding contact. It ties your HubSpot portal to your SalesSync tenant, and nothing else.
- Onboarding connects ConnectWise. Your dedicated SalesSync tenant is provisioned, your ConnectWise Manage site is connected with API credentials you supply, the
ss_properties are created in HubSpot, and the first synchronization runs while you watch. - Leave whenever you like. Uninstall SalesSync from HubSpot's Connected Apps. Access is revoked at once and synchronization stops. Nothing already written to either system is removed.
What SalesSync asks HubSpot for
Read and write access to companies, contacts, deals, products and line items; read access to owners and to sales email activity. Each permission maps to one of the object families above, and SalesSync uses no permission it does not sync.
One tenant per customer, nothing pooled
Each HubSpot portal gets its own SalesSync tenant on the Contuit automation platform. Your HubSpot access grant is stored encrypted at rest and can be revoked by you at any time from HubSpot. Your ConnectWise credentials live inside your tenant and are never shown in a browser once entered.
